Account leverage depends on the amount of equity in your account:

When your account equity increases and moves to a new leverage tier, the leverage automatically decreases to match the level for that equity range.
If your account equity decreases, the leverage stays the same.
You can change your account leverage on the trading account settings page in your personal account.
Account’s leverage level only affects margin calculations for Forex symbols (currency pairs).

Leverages are active from 11:55 p.m. Sunday to 10:00 p.m. Friday (MT5 trading platform time), except during important news releases.

From 10:00 p.m. Friday to 11:55 p.m. Sunday (MT5 trading platform time), weekend leverage applies.

The leverage for each symbol depends on the total nominal value of all open positions in that group, expressed in US dollars.

If a symbol is quoted in another currency, its value is recalculated.

Leverage may be reduced before important news releases. In such cases, the weekend and news release leverage levels will be applied. You will receive a notification about the leverage change and its duration on your trading platform at least 3 hours before the news release.
Dynamic leverage applies to all trading account types, except Prop Trading. For Prop Trading accounts, standard leverage and margin requirements apply, as specified in the symbol specifications.
